Artworks relish projects that are out of the ordinary, so the brief of using sustainable materials alongside a strong animal theme certainly played to our strengths. Delivering this installation during national lockdown presented some challenges but our team worked safely to achieve a great end result. Video calls and posting out physical samples kept the client well-informed at every step of the journey.
Halo illuminated signage
With a strong belief in animal welfare, rooms were themed around different breeds and named using glass manifest. Large, striking imagery was applied to whole walls for instant impact. Halo illuminated built-up signs added another dimension and kept a modern feel to the space. Cork, a fantastic sustainable material, was used as wall panelling and as ceiling rafts that housed both lighting and planting.
Fun place to work
Typical of our attention to detail, we designed and installed a built-in light box that finished flush to the wall, using a specially chosen fabric that could be swapped out for future updates. Unique hanging sound barriers used cut shapes to add carefully considered texture and shape. Practicality met style in this project and the result was a fun and uplifting place to work.
We removed unnecessary barriers to increase movement and collaboration, but ensured noise wouldn’t hamper productivity by installing acoustic panels and baffles. Even a hanging fabric partition with feather-shaped cut-outs absorbs unwanted office distractions, whilst adding a touch of design flair from the animal kingdom.
