Thatchers
Working closely with Wylde IA and the client, Artworks developed a series of design concepts to subtly integrate into the scheme at Thatchers. Supporting these designs with visuals and samples along the way was key for such a large scope of works. This dramatic office space includes a large, acoustic wall in an open plan ‘printed cider orchard’ that links through to the surroundings.
Creative ceiling raft
The honeycomb design reflects how the bees pollenate the apple blossom and is used in creative ways for both the wall finishes and ceiling raft using our ALTO material.
On time, on budget
There was a lot of brainstorming along the way, including integrating an old cider press from the farm to create a unique table base in the tasting room. This idea generation meant we were also able to neatly incorporate the lighting into the ceiling rafts. Delivered on time and on budget, the scheme was well-received by all. As a real team effort across all the trades, the finished space was a testament to everyone involved.
WOW – what a result! Being involved in the whole journey certainly pays dividends, as our works compliment the wider scheme. That extra attention to detail and design tells a story too. A true reflection on how far we can go with our in-house design and production capabilities to support the creatives at Wylde IA.
